The Ambassador of North Korea (DPRK) presented his credentials to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on December 21, the official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (Rodong Sinmun) reports.
Ambassador Choe Hui Chol cordially conveyed the greeting of Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, to President of Sri Lanka Gotabaya Rajapaksa, to which Rajapaksa expressed deep thanks and asked the Ambassador to convey his warm greetings to Kim Jong Un.
The report notes that President Rajapaksa expressed hope that everything would go well in the DPRK and the relations between the two countries further develop.
