The National People's Power (NPP) and the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) have decided to not attend parliamentary sittings until the Government announces a plan on how the economic situation is to be resolved.
This was announced by the SJB leader Sajith Premadasa and NPP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka today (21) in Parliament.
Both parties are due to boycott parliament sittings for a period of 1 week effective tomorrow.
