NTJ, JMI assets to be seized

Following the ban of the National Thawheed Jammath (NTJ) and Jamathei Millathu Ibraheem (JMI) groups, the assets owned by the two groups will be seized by the authorities. The Police told the media yesterday (01 May) that the assets of the two organisations had been identified by the Criminal Investigation Department. President Maithripala Sirisena banned all activities of the two groups last week and claimed that all assets will be seized.
