Ahead of the next inter-school rugby season, the Old Trinitians Rugby Scrummage (OTRS) has sent a clear message to its sponsors, thanking them and preparing themselves for the big challenge.
Rugger is the most popular sport in Trinity where the OTRS, which gives a big hand for the game always, has started co-ordinating with their sponsors for the coming season.
Singer Sri Lanka, Kandurata Umbrellas, and Exotic Cars are the main sponsors of the OTRS, headed by Channa Pathirana and packed with top-notch rugby promoters living up to its motto “Respice Finem”.
The senior and junior Trinitians ended the last season on a successful note. The seniors won the inter-school sevens tournament after 42 long years while the juniors also did well winning the under-14 all-island 10-a-side tournament. They came back fighting to also win the second leg of the Bradby.
