One million doses of the Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine were brought to the island today (02), State Minister Prof Channa Jayasumana told The Morning.
The consignment arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport at 4.30 am today, he said.
Following this, the vaccines were transported by lorry to the Central Vaccine Storage Complex in Colombo.
Meanwhile, Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana stated that the stock of Pfizer vaccines will be delivered to Sri Lanka next Monday.Kapruka
