The Leader of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Maithripala Sirisena is not publicly talking against the Government to topple it, but only to critique it openly to make the current situation better says SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara.
He made this statement during a party meeting held yesterday (09).
"We have told out party leader to talk about internal affairs within the cabinet, but if needed at public meetings, it must be done as well. This is not to topple the Government, people who think it is for that can make their assumptions. But the only reason we are critiquing the wrongdoings of the Government is it make things better," said Jayasekara.
He further added that some people always praise even the wrongdoings of the Government, and they do not realise anything until the whole country is in a mess.
