The main Opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has appointed MP Harshana Rajakaruna as an assistant to the Chief Opposition Whip.
The appointment was made by Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa over the weekend.
Also, MPs Buddika Pathirana, J. C. Alawathuwala, Nalin Bandara Jayamaha, and Hector Appuhamy have been appointed as Deputy Opposition Whips by the Opposition Leader.
