A total of 108 persons were arrested yesterday (26) in connection with the quarantine operations carried out by the police.
Police Media Spokesman, DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the suspects were arrested for not wearing face masks and not for not maintaining social distance.
A total of 3,755 people have been arrested since October 30.
Most of them have been arrested from the Kalutara area.
Relevant operations are still in progress today (27).
