Sri Lanka recorded 2,372 COVID-19 cases on Thursday (17).
2,361 of these cases were from the Post-New Year Cluster and the remaining 11 cases were those who tested positive for the Covid-19 after returning from overseas.
562 patients were reported from Colombo, followed by 455 from Gampaha and 234 from Kurunegala.
