In the past 24 hours, 414 people have been arrested for violating quarantine laws.
Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the total number of arrests of this nature has now increased to 11,320.
A special operation conducted in the Western Province resulted in the arrest of 94 persons who were not wearing face masks.
