The Parliament Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Security has recommended that the Burqa and Registration of political parties on ethic and religious basis should be banned.
This was stated in a special report tabled in Parliament by the Chairman of the Committee, MP Malith Jayatilaka.
The report was prepared to resolve 14 controversial issues in the society following the Easter Bombings.
