Pakistan beat South Africa by three wickets in first ODI

Pakistan beat South Africa by three wickets in the first of their three-match ODI series in a last-ball thriller at Centurion on Friday (2) under lights. Chasing 274 to win Pakistan needed one to win in the last ball. Rassies van der Dussen scored an unbeaten 123 in 134 balls for South Africa who were struggling at 55/4 in the 15th over carrying them to a competitive total while sharing 116 runs for the fifth wicket with David Miller, who made 56-ball 50. Pakistan reply centred round Captain Babar Azam's century (103 in 104). Their opener Imam-ul-Haq struck 70 runs. The second ODI of the series will be held on Sunday (4). The two teams will later play a four-match T20I series as well.
