Most Government Parliamentarians were absent in Parliament yesterday and the opposition alleged most of them were in Kurunegala to attend a rally in support of United National Party Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa.
The opposition raised concerns that even the Minister of Finance Mangala Samaraweera and Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama were not in Parliament today despite questions being raised related to their Ministries.
