The Presidential Commission (PCoI) on Political Victimisation has informed the Appeal Court that it would not summon JVP Leader and former Parliamentarian Anura Kumara Dissanayake, former Director of the CID Shani Abeysekara & Snr. State Counsel Janaka Bandara until the Appeal Court completes hearing petitions filed by them.
The Petitions filed by Dissanayake, Abeysekara and Bandara request the Court of Appeal to invalidate the notices issued to them, by the PCoI naming them as respondents in a complaint filed by the Chairman of Avant-Garde Nissanka Senathipathi.
The case will be heard again on the 29th of September.
