The Presidential Commission of Inquiry(PCoI) probing fraud and corruption in state institutions, has postponed its inquiry session with Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe to 16 September, upon a request made by the latter.
The Prime Minister was requested to appear before the PCoI, on the 12th of September at 09:30 am. to record a statement regarding the leasing of a building in Rajagiriya for the Ministry of Agriculture.
However the Wickramasinghe had said he would not be able to appear before the PCoI tomorrow(12).
