The report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the series of terrorist attacks on Easter Sunday has been proposed for two more days to be debated in Parliament.
Accordingly, the Parliamentary Communications Department states that the relevant report will be debated in Parliament on the 25th and 26th of next week.
The decision was taken at a parliamentary committee meeting chaired by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena this morning.
An adjournment debate on the Easter Commission Report was held on the 10th.
The Leader of the House, Minister Dinesh Gunawardena stated that the debate is expected to continue and that a final decision will be taken at a meeting of party secretaries in Parliament.
