Persons violating district border restrictions will be directed to quarantine centres for a 14-day quarantine process , DIG Ajith Rohana warned.
DIG Rohana added that the new measure will come into effect from tomorrow (April 10).
The public has been strongly advised to adhere to curfew regulations imposed to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
