Election Commission (EC) Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya today said postal type voting scheduled on 31 of July for those who are at quarantine centres will not be carried out as scheduled.
This decision has been taken following two main concerns including logistics and the lack of legal provisions in Sri Lanka on ‘advanced voting’.
