The Sri Lanka Navy has taken into custody a group of persons who have evaded self-quarantine.
The 28 persons are from Suduwella, Jaella and were tracked down by Navy intelligence officers.
The group was advised by the Ja-Ela Public Health Office to undergo self-quarantine at their homes as they had had direct contact with a COVID-19 patient.
The Navy has directed the group to the Oluvil quarantine camp.
