Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP, former Minister Namal Rajapaksa was the Chief Guest at the national convention of the Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal (TMVP) party, led by MP Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan.
Rajapaksa had received a warm welcome from the TMVP members in Batticaloa and posted several selfies with the crowd at the convention on his social media. A video posted on Rajapaksa’s social media showed young boys and girls at the event thronging around him to take selfies with the MP.
The event was held recently at the Devanayagam Hall in Batticaloa.
