Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa assumed duties as Finance Minister at the Finance Ministry today.
Rajapaksa was appointed as Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs, Policy Development, Buddha Sasana, Cultural, Water Supply & Urban Development and Home Affairs Ministry last Friday.
Minister of Information & Communications Technology, Higher Education, Technology & Innovations Bandula Gunawardena and Minister of Highways, ports and shipping Johnston Fernando were present during the occasion.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa assumed duties as Finance Minister at the Finance Ministry today.
