Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa inspected the programme to provide Covid vaccine to the public within the Colombo Municipal Council area today (11).
PM Rajapaksa visited the Narahenpita Abhayarama Temple and observed the programme to administer the vaccine to 1,200 people.
This programme was implemented at the request of Colombo Municipal Councillors Galagama Dhammaransi Thera, Dr. Pradeep Kariyawasam and Manori Wickramasinghe.
"Vaccination was conducted by the Chief Medical Officer of the Colombo Municipal Council Dr. Ruwan Wijayamuni and the medical team," the Prime Minister's Office said.
