Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has been requested to appear before the  Presidential Commission of inquiry (PCoI) on  12 September to provide a statement on an inquiry carried out on a building rented out by the Agricultural Ministry. The parliamentary watch dog, PCoI, investigates  into serious acts of fraud, corruption, and abuse of power in state institutes.
