The Police is on the lookout for former Minister Rajitha Senaratne.
The Colombo Additional Magistrate yesterday(24) issued a warrant for the arrest of Senaratne over the ‘white van’ press briefing held on 10 November.
However, when the Criminal Investigation Department(CID) arrived at Senaratne's residence in the afternoon today(25), he had not been available at the house.
On the 23 of December, the Court postponed Senaratne’s amended anticipatory bail application until December 30.
Senaratne through his application sort for the prevention of his arrest over the “white van” media conference.
He is also subject to an overseas travel ban over the aforementioned incident.
