Sri Lanka Police have detected 4,511 cases relating to motorcycles during the last twenty four hours, stated Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana today.
Among them, 122 drunk riders have been arrested, 650 riders have been found to have violated the helmet law and 1,021 were found violating road rules and regulations.
He stated that the operation will continue until 3rd April to reduce motorcycle related accidents.
