Police to continue tight security island wide despite no major incidents being reported during the post-election period so far.
“Inspections conducted by mobile police units, anti-riot squads will continue to maintain the peace during the post-election period,” Police Media Spokesman SSP Ruwan Gunasekera said.
“Tight security would also be provided to the counting centres throughout the island,” he added.
