Sri Lanka’s Police Spokesman today said that 24 major drug traffickers have fled the country and that investigations are underway to confiscate their assets and properties.
Police Media Spokesperson, SP Ruwan Gunasekera at a press briefing said that the police have commenced investigations in order to confiscate the property of these drug peddlers in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act of 2006.
