Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) MP Pramitha Bandara Thennakoon has been appointed Assistant Government Whip in Parliament. The appointment was reportedly made by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Pramitha Bandara Thennakoon, who contested under the SLPP from the Matale District, is the son of Minister of Public Services, Provincial Councils, and Local Government Janaka Bandara Thennakoon.
