Representatives of the People’s Responsibility Center(PRC) handed over a letter to the UN over the Swiss embassy staffer case yesterday.
The letter was addressed to UN Resident Coordinator, Hanna Singer.
PRC urges the UN to request Switzerland to co-operate with the Sri lankan Government to carry out the investigations in a transparent manner to reveal the 'truth to the world'.
"Serious doubt is generated in the minds of Sri Lankans as the story was fake and it was planned to tarnish the image of newly elected Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Sri Lankan Army forces," The letter read.
