President arrives in Cambodia

President Maithripala Sirisena arrived in Cambodia today commencing his four-day official visit to strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries. According to the President’s Media Division (PMD) the visit aims at expanding cooperation in economic, trade, tourism and cultural sectors. The president is said to attend a bilateral meeting with the Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen followed by an inauguration of a Business Forum organized by the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce. The PMD noted that during his stay President Sirisena will have a royal audience with the King of Cambodia, Norodom Sihamoni. Several bilateral cooperation agreements will also be signed during his visit.
