President Maithripala Sirisena has confirmed his attendance at the oath-taking ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Indian Awaaz has confirmed that President Sirisena will be joined by other country leaders including the President of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid and the Prime Ministers of Nepal and Mauritius, K.P. Sharma Oli and Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.
Several other dignitaries had also confirmed their attendance according to a spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
