President receives Easter attack's interim report

The committee that was formed to inquire into the Easter Sunday attacks, headed by Supreme Court Judge Vijith Malalgoda, has presented the interim report to President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (30). The panel that comprised of former Inspector General of Police N. K. Ilangakoon and former Ministry Secretary Padmasiri Jayamanne was expected to investigate the causes and background into the bombings carried out Easter morning. Upon receiving the report the President would then discuss the contents with the Attorney General tomorrow (01 May) and take the necessary action the President's Media Division stated.
