President Maithripala Sirisena, in his four-day state visit to the Phillipines has met with President Rodrigo Duterte and had successfully signed five Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) yesterday (16).
The two heads of state had agreed upon improving education, tourism, agricultural and economic corporation through these Mou's, stated the President’s Media Division.
Furthermore, discussions are being held into focusing upon establishing an economic council to revive economic and trade relations between Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
