The State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs is to submit a report to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on the disadvantages of the provincial council system.
“I will be submitting a comprehensive report on the provincial councils and will show how the provincial council system has failed the country.”
“It will show whether the money being expended by the Central Government to provincial councils is benefiting the people,” State Minister Dr.
Sarath Weerasekara told The Sunday Morning.
