President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, based on the recommendations by the Vice President of the Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) Senthil Thondaman, has agreed to include Tamil representatives into the One Country, One Law Special Task Force.
The Morning spoke to Senthil Thondaman today (29) who confirmed that the Special Task Force will have new additions.
"I spoke to the President yesterday, and he very willingly agreed to include Tamil representatives into the One Country One Law Task Force. I assume about 5 representatives will be added to the existing list. I am glad the President took an immediate decision and included the Tamils," said Thondaman.
He went on to say that the discussion with the President proved to be fruitful and that he was happy that an immediate decision was made.
