President Maithripala Sirisena has ordered the authorities to expedite investigations into suspects arrested for minor crimes under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).
The order has been issued after the terror attacks which took place on Easter Sunday, the President's Media Division stated.
Further, the President has also instructed the authorities to refrain from holding individuals certain of having no links to terrorism.
