President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has issued a Gazette Extraordinary prohibiting anyone from being on any public road, park, recreation or other grounds, railways and seashores rom 6.00 pm of 02 April to 6.00 am of 04 April 2022.
This is in addition to an island-wide curfew which was imposed at 6.00pm today (April 02), which will be in effect until 6.00am on Monday (April 04).
