The price of bakery products will be increased after the price of wheat flour went up today.
The All-island Bakery Owners Association said that they were in talks to increase the price of bakery products.
Prima Ceylon today increased the price of wheat flour by Rs 5 per kilo.
The company said that the price of wheat flour will now be sold at Rs 100 a kilo.
The increase was attributed to the rising prices in the global market and the depreciation of the Sri Lankan Rupee against the US dollar.
