The decision to increase the price of a 450g loaf of bread has been revised and the price will remain unchanged. The Ceylon Bakery Owners' Association has said that the price of bread will remain as previous. The association decided to increase the price of a loaf of bread yesterday (17) by Rs 5 over the recent price increase by Rs 8 per kilogram of wheat flour.
