The Cabinet of Ministers yesterday (19) drew its attention to the proposal made by the Minister of Industries to promote the marketing activities of Lanka Salusala Limited, giving a 15% priority to the purchase of textiles from Salusala and government-owned institutions when purchasing textiles under the competitive procurement scheme by government agencies.
This was with regard to the strategic “Five Year project Plan” in line with the Government’s New Industry and Trade Policies, which was formulated by Lanka Salusala Ltd.
