The private bus strike which was scheduled to begin at midnight today (08) has been postponed by a week due to several demands, Chairman of the All Ceylon Private Bus Owners' Association, Anjana Priyanjith said.
It was revealed that this was decided after a discussion held between private bus owners and State Minister of Finance Ajith Nivard Cabral this morning.
"The strike was postponed after receiving assurances from the Minister of State that the problems of bus owners would be resolved by next Thursday," he said.
