Proceedings at the Galle, Moratuwa and Kurunegala courts have been suspended temporarily from today (26), following the increasing COVID-19 risks.
The High Court, Chief Magistrate Court and District Court in Galle have decided to postpone cases scheduled for today (26), stated court officials.
All proceedings at Moratuwa magistrate court have also suspended until 1 November after a submission made by lawyers.
Meanwhile, the District Court in Kurunegala decided to suspend its proceedings from today after two court staff members have reportedly been in contact with a COVID-19 infected person.
