Protesters delayed Treasury Secretary K M Mahinda Siriwardana’s meeting with the IMF delegation, the Prime Minister’s Media Division said.
“Protesters blocked the Finance Ministry this morning. This delayed the Treasury Secretary attending the IMF meeting which was held at the PM's office,”
It was also detailed that Protesters had blocked the Finance Ministry with the belief that the IMF meeting would be held there.
