Rajitha Dissanayake’s latest play Hithala Gaththa Theeranayak (A Well-made Decision) returns for its first performance following the Covid-19 outbreak on 10 September at the Elphinstone Theatre in Maradana at 3.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.
This critically acclaimed play explores the consequences of the decisions we take in relationships and whether love is an irresistible emotion or a conscious decision. Is it better to utter comforting lies and sustain a happy relationship or destroy it through painful honesty? Is trust, once broken, irretrievable, or is there room for second chances in a mature relationship?
The play stars veteran actors such as Shyam Fernando, Dharmapriya Dias, Samadhi Laksiri, Anuradha Mallawarachchi, and Kalum Gamlath, while music is by Kapila Poogalaarachchi and stage management by Vijith Nuwan and Lenin Liyanage.
Special ticket prices from Rs. 200 (balcony) to Rs. 500 are now available at Elphinstone Theatre in Maradana.
