Rajitha & Kiriella give statements before PCoI

Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Rajitha Senaratne and Leader of the House Minister Lakshman Kiriella today, gave statements before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry(PCoI). Senaratne was summoned to the Commission to give evidence in connection to a complaint lodged by the GMOA Secretary Dr Haritha Aluthge that the Neville Fernando Hospital in Malabe was spending government money without it being formally taken over by the government. Senaratne was due to appear before the Commission on 19th of Sep. Senaratne said he could not appear before the PCoI due to several parliamentary sittings on the said date. Meanwhile, Leader of the House Minister Lakshman Kiriella and his daughter were summoned to the PCoI.
