Former Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne's anticipatory bail application has been rejected by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
The court had rejected the application claiming that there was no clarity on the alleged charges.
Yesterday(19), Senaratne filed an anticipatory bail application seeking for the prevention of his arrest over “white van” media conference.
The former minister claimed that the CID is preparing to arrest him over the said media briefing.
last Saturday, the CID arrested two persons who claimed to be a ‘white van’ driver and a white van abduction victim.
