Speaking in Parliament today (08), former Prime Minister and Leader of the United National Party (UNP) requested the Government to present the Yugadanavi deal in Parliament.
"Our party has not come down to a final decision as yet. We would like to see this deal which has been discussed in Cabinet, and then our Party can decide on the next step," said Wickremesinghe
In response to the request, Minister of Education and Leader of the House of Parliament Dinesh Gunawardena agreed that the documentation pertaining to the Yugadanavi deal would be presented in Parliament accordingly.
