Former Prime Minister and leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremesinghe is to be sworn in as a Member of Parliament (MP) this month.
UNP Working Committee member Dinouk Colombage confirmed to The Morning today (10) that it is planned to swear Wickremesinghe in on 22 June.
Accordingly, he also stated that Wickremesinghe’s name will be submitted to the Election Commission next week.
