The name of Former Prime Minister of Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremesinghe has been handed over to the Election Commission (EC) today (16), UNP Working Committee member Dinouk Colombage stated.
Accordingly, Wikcremesinghe’s name was handed in to the EC by General-Secretary of the UNP, Palitha Range Bandara.
Wickremesinghe is set to fill the National List slot in Parliament.
