Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that contrary to certain reports that relations between the President and himself are not very good, the relationship between the two was in a good standing.
This observation was made by Wickremesinghe during a recent interview with Strategic News International.
The Prime Minister has said that relations between the President and him were good.
He has explained that it is the first time that two major rival parties have worked together, not only in Sri Lanka but anywhere else.
“If BJP and Congress had worked together, would it have lasted?” Wickremesinghe has posed a question to the interviewer Nitin A. Gokhale.
Gokhale has responded saying “never.”
“That’s the answer to the question,” Wickremesinghe has noted.
